Who’s this about?

Well, I suppose that would be me - Shanda Conger.

I’m just a girl in her mid-twenties on a journey… I happen to think that sharing the journey is one of the things that makes it significant; so here I am… sharing.

I am passionate about God, Jesus, the Bible, and the church… but I’m not into religion. I believe we were created for relationships and that the best relationship any of us can have is with our Creator! - - It’s a beautiful thing! - - My goal in life is to follow Jesus… to love him so fully, cherish him so truly, and give my life for him so honestly… that others can’t help but to come along. I mess up a lot. There are far too many gaps between what I claim to believe and how I lived my life today… but please know that I believe it… more everyday… and I PRAY that God will, more and more, fill those gaps as I walk with Him and am filled with His Spirit. Less of me. Die to myself. Live for His glory.

I pay my bills by making lattes and I must say, I love it (”it” being both lattes and my job). One of my favorite things to do is to meet people and to find out about where they are in their journey. I try to learn something from everyone I meet and I pray I’ll have valuable things to teach along the way. I have a year left of grad school and after that… Only God knows! I’m excited about life. It’s always an adventure.

I love the ocean, though I moved away from it. I love to read, write, people watch, and talk to friends and strangers. I love my family… I’m probably the proudest big sister you’ll ever meet. My favorite ice cream is mint-n-chip or vanilla with hot fudge… mmm! I love Mexican food! If you become my friend, you’ll be stuck with me for life. Some people say I’m weird… I think I’m interesting and hilarious (speaking of which, I laugh loudly and a lot). I think that’s enough about me…
