I lived a hopeless, lonely, meaningless life…
I had a great family. I had enough friends. I had all of my physical needs met. Yet, I was missing something and there was no denying it - though believe me, I tried. My heart ached in its depths.
Then I met him… He saved my life, my heart, my soul!
Jesus.
He gave his life as a ransom for mine, and for yours. When I believed, he set me free. He gave me hope. He became my constant companion. He called me worthy. He said I was beautiful. He called me out to a purpose-filled life.
Jesus… not just a name or a religious figure. Jesus. Savior. Friend. I know Him. I’m walking with Him. I live so that others may know Him too.
Let’s walk.
“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into …this grace in which we stand…, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:1-5
